Full Tilt’s MiniFTOPS series
If you’re into WSOP like poker events, where you get the chance to prove yourself in several events, but you just don’t possess the financial means to buy in with the best in the world, Full Tilt Poker’s MiniFTOPS is for you. This promotion gives you the opportunity to turn a small buy-in into a huge prize, because – despite the low buy-in that it features – the Mini-FTOPS awards no less than $3 million in guaranteed prizes.
The series kicks off on September 9th and it will be modeled after the FTOPS, only with smaller buy-ins: about a 10th of those featured by the FTOPS events. The prize-pools won’t really be significantly smaller though, because the small buy-ins usually attract a large number of participants.
A proof to the generosity of the prize-pools offered by the MiniFTOPS is the two day event which features a buy-in of $250+$16 and offers a guaranteed prize-pool of $400,000, which is likely to be surpassed though. The person who won the two day event during the last edition of the Mini-FTOPS, took home no less than $120,000.
Another notorious MiniFTOPS event is the Main Event which only costs $50+$5 to enter and offers no less than half a million bucks in guaranteed prizes.
Of course, besides buying into these events directly, players are also offered the possibility to satellite their way to a seat for much less, possibly only for a few FPPs.
Players who make any MiniFTOPS final table, will have an additional surprise in store. All final tablists will walk away with a MiniFTOPS jacket on top of the prizes they collect.
There will also be a MiniFTOPS leader-board promotion, the winner of which shall take down an entry package to each and every FTOPS XIV event. That means a $7,500 value.
