Full Tilt Poker - General Rules

Even though most people assume they know everything about how they’re supposed to act in an online poker room, about the etiquette and the general rules, reading Full Tilt Poker’s player conduct requirements might just serve up a couple of surprises, so here goes:

  • Always act in a fair manner, and promote sportsmanship at Full Tilt’s tables.
  • Never create duplicate Full Tilt Poker accounts. This is a very sensitive issue, and Full Tilt takes it quite literally that every player is entitled to a SINGLE Full Tilt account. If you’re caught messing around, you risk the suspension of your original account too.
  • This is an excellent rule that all other poker rooms should adopt as well: harassment of fellow players or observers is strictly forbidden. Offenders will have their accounts suspended. Way to take a stance on cyber-bullying.
  • Don’t be a beggar. Don’t beg others for money, whether it’s just play money or real. You risk your account being suspended.
  • Chip dumping is a major crime at Full Tilt. Since it doesn’t just damage the room’s reputation, but it can potentially cause other players losses as well, offenders will have their accounts suspended immediately if caught.
  • Blinds (both BB and SB) will progress around the table in a clockwise direction. The SB will always be the seat which paid the BB in the previous hand. If the player from that seat leaves the table, there will be no SB that hand. Likewise, the button always belongs to the seat that paid the SB in the previous hand.Read the TOS before you play and make sure you adhere to all the rules put forth in it.
  • Neither actual players nor observers may discuss the folded cards until a hand is not concluded.
  • If a pot is split, but the number of players entitled to part of it makes it impossible to divide the chips equally, the extra leftover chips shall be handed out to the other players around the table, starting with the guy closest to the button
  • In a FL game, a maximum of three raises are allowed (4 bets altogether including the initial one).
  • Those who fail to act in the time allotted for them, will have their hands put to check-fold and their status to ‘sit-out’.
  • Full Tilt may change the above listed rules anytime it sees fit. Players should read up on the rule changes on Full Tilt’s website, it is their own responsibility to get up to date with the changes.
  • All of Full Tilt’s decisions taken in accordance with the above rules are final.
