Go to the Aussie Millions with Full Tilt Poker
Full Tilt Poker takes players to the 2007 Aussie Millions in style. While the prize packages available for the event at other online poker rooms are usually worth around $13,000, Full Tilt’s packages are worth $14,500 and there are more of them available than anywhere else.
The promotion involving these Aussie Millions packages has started on November 2nd, and it’ll last till around January 10th 2010. Every week, there will be a direct access satellite, which will offer players at least a $14,500 Aussie Millions package. These events cost $500+$35 to enter, but sub satellites run for these weekly events all the time, offering players the possibility to gain access for much less (for a few bucks or Full Tilt FTPs).
On top of the regular weekly qualifiers, every second Saturday, Full Tilt offers additional $500+$35 direct access satellites, each guaranteed to deliver at least 2 Aussie Millions tournament packages.
On January 9th 2010, a special qualifier will take place, (featuring the same $500+$35 buy-in) which will award no fewer than 5 Aussie Millions packages.
What exactly does the $14,500 package cover? The buy-in to the Aussie Millions Main Event of course, which costs AUD 10,500, 11 nights’ stay at the luxurious Crown Hotel in Melbourne and $1,200 to cover some of the travel expenses. This money will be transferred directly into players’ accounts. Players who take a companion along to the event will have to cover the additional expenses themselves.
Besides the above mentioned perks, players will also be bought into a $50,000 event in which they’ll be able to interact with Full Tilt pros. During the Aussie Millions, there will be a host of special activities for Full Tilt players, like strategy lessons and plain old shoulder-running with Full Tilt’s representatives.
The Full Tilt gear players will be required to wear at the event will also be included.
