If there’s two words that’ll be on every poker forum this coming week it’s going to be Rush Poker – Full Tilt Poker has put it front and centre.
FrStarting from Monday July 12th, Rush Poker is going to be on everyone’s mind as Rush Week gets started at Full Tilt Poker. If however you’re not quite up to speed on what Rush Poker is, don’t fear, we’re here to explain it all. The basic concept of Rush Poker is simple; you don’t need to wait around for anything. This means that when you’ve folded out of a game the Full Tilt Poker software will automatically move you to a table that’s about to deal. In other words, you’re constantly moving around, playing different opponents in order to save you time and help you to max out the action. The function has proven to be hugely popular due to its intensity, excitement, and challenges. Full Tilt Poker is the only online poker site with Rush Poker, and it’s available in both tournament and ring game forms. If you’re not sure about something regarding Rush Poker, here are some of the most common questions we found on various poker forums.
How do the blinds work?
On your first hand you’ll post the big blind, but after that the player who has gone longest not posting will post. The small blind is posted randomly.
What about in tournaments?
Blinds are random on the first hand of the tournament and after that it goes to whoever has gone the longest without posting.
What is Quick Fold?
Quick Fold is a means of taking you directly to your next table. You don’t have to wait for your turn to fold, you can do it at any point and the other players won’t see.
How do tournaments keep going?
Rush Poker tournaments will always end up short handed in order to keep the action going. From 28 players and down it will be short handed.
What about Final Tables?
The exception is Rush Poker Final Tables. At this point in a tournament the mode is flipped to regular poker; it is no longer in Rush Mode.
