The Doubles
Full Tilt Poker’s ‘The Doubles’ promotion gives players the chance to become millionaires, or at least to make a huge addition to their bankrolls.
There are daily ‘Doubles’ tournaments running, paired up in three daily jackpots. The Early Double promotion features two $5+$1 tournaments beginning each day at 16:00 and 16:02 ET respectively. The Daily Double has two $10+$2 tournaments, at 21:00 and 21:02, and the Big Double features two $60+$15 tourneys starting at 22:00 and 22:02. Any player who manages to win both of the tourneys featured by any of the above named promotions, wins a huge part of a progressive jackpot, namely 75% of it. If you play in the Early Double for instance, having registered for both tourneys (you must in order to qualify for the jackpot), and you win them both, you get 75% of the jackpot. Since $0.50 of every buy-in fee goes on to seed the following day’s jackpot, there will always be plenty of money in them.
We know that winning both tourneys is a long-shot and Full Tilt does too. That’s exactly why it offers rewards for those who finish both times in the money (double cash is worth 3% of the jackpot), or reach the final table both times (20% of the jackpot).
The best double finish will also be rewarded (with 2% of the jackpot). In case two players achieve the same best double finish, they’ll each get 1%.?
All of this money comes – of course – on top of the prizes players win in the tourneys themselves.
The Triple Double is a huge $1 Million promotion. In order to become eligible for it, you need to participate in all three daily jackpot promotions. Players who manage to win all three jackpots at least once during the course of a month, will automatically win a $1 million jackpot. Wins don’t have to be back-to-back ones, but all 6 of the individual tourneys making up the 3 daily jackpots need to be won. The Triple Double jackpot comes on top of all other winnings players may achieve in the meanwhile.
